He completed his internationally recognized 3-year fellowship program in Infectious diseases from Hamad Medical Corporation, Qatar and also passed the MRCP-UK specialty certificate examination in Infectious diseases. He was former Assistant Professor in Internal Medicine as faculty in Directorate of Medical Education in Kerala government.
