The Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery (CTVS) department at Baby Memorial Hospitals provide advanced surgical care for complex heart, lung, and vascular conditions. Our expert team of cardiothoracic surgeons performs a full range of procedures, including coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), valve repair and replacement, aortic aneurysm surgery, thoracic resections, and vascular reconstructions.

We specialise in beating heart bypass surgery, which avoids heart-lung machine use and promotes faster recovery with fewer complications. For select high-risk patients, awake cardiac surgery is offered under regional anaesthesia without general anaesthesia or intubation. Our minimally invasive approach includes video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS) for lung and mediastinal diseases, ensuring shorter hospital stays and better outcomes.

Every surgery is supported by experienced cardiac anaesthesiologists and monitored post-operatively in our fully equipped Cardiothoracic ICU.
