The Department of Paediatric Surgery at Baby Memorial Hospital offers specialised surgical care for newborns, infants, children, and adolescents with congenital and acquired conditions. The unit is equipped to manage both routine and complex paediatric cases, including neonatal emergencies and minimally invasive surgeries.

The surgical team works in close coordination with the departments of Paediatrics, Neonatology, Anaesthesiology, and Radiology to ensure comprehensive care. Surgeries are performed in advanced operating theatres with dedicated paediatric anaesthesia and post-operative monitoring in PICU and NICU.

Conditions treated include gastrointestinal malformations, paediatric urological disorders, thoracic anomalies, paediatric tumours, and other surgical conditions unique to childhood.
