Dr. R. Krishnan is a Senior Consultant in the Department of General Medicine at Baby Memorial Hospital, Kozhikode, with more than 40 years of experience in clinical medicine, medical education, and academic leadership. Internationally trained in Neurology and Geriatric Medicine from the United Kingdom, he is highly regarded for his contributions to internal medicine, elderly care, and neurology.
Formerly Professor and Head of the Department of Medicine at Government Medical College, Kozhikode, and MES Medical College, Perinthalmanna, Dr. Krishnan has mentored generations of clinicians and postgraduates. He continues to be a thought leader in Kerala’s medical fraternity through leadership roles in API Kerala Chapter and CALFIM. His work integrates patient-centric clinical excellence with decades of academic and administrative service.
