Pedal for Pink: Kozhikode Rides for Breast Cancer Awareness

Baby Memorial Hospital, Kozhikode, organised the “Pedal for Pink” Cyclothon on 19th October 2025 as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The event aimed to promote early detection, spread awareness, and encourage the community to adopt a healthy lifestyle. Cyclists from across the city joined hands for the cause, making it a vibrant and energetic morning.

The Cyclothon started from Baby Memorial Hospital, Calicut, at 6:30 AM and followed a scenic route through the city, concluding at Kozhikode Beach. The event was conducted in association with the Kozhikode Cycling Community (KCC), ensuring a well-coordinated and safe ride for all participants. To add excitement, attractive gifts were awarded to lucky participants, creating a spirited atmosphere throughout the event.

With enthusiastic participation and strong public support, the Pedal for Pink Cyclothon successfully highlighted the importance of breast cancer awareness and community well-being.
