On the occasion of World Hypertension Day, BMH Vadakara organized a free blood pressure screening camp at various locations across the town. The camp was conducted through special screening centers set up at Vadakara Municipality, Police Station, Civil Station, Chorode Panchayat and other locations. The event was inaugurated by Vadakara Municipal Chairperson Mr. P.K. Shashi.
During the camp, the hospital's Chief Operating Officer, Nidhin Antony, launched the Health Privilege Card for participants. The function was attended by Dr. Sunil Prashanth R., Chief of Medical Services; Vivek, PRO; Municipal Vice Chairperson Mrs. Shaini and Councillor Muhammed Ali.
The camp, which was organized extensively to ensure easy access to health screening for the public, witnessed participation from around 1,500 people. Chief Operating Officer Nidhin Antony announced that those who received the Health Privilege Card through the camp would be eligible for a free consultation with doctors from the hospital’s Family Medicine Department, along with special discounts on selected blood tests.
With its large public participation, the camp emerged as a highly successful and noteworthy health awareness initiative.
