Family Gathering for Angioplasty Patients Held at BMH Payyanur

Baby Memorial Hospital (BMH), Payyanur, organised a special family gathering for patients who had undergone angioplasty at the hospital as part of the World Heart Day observance.

The programme brought together around 100 angioplasty patients and their family members, providing an opportunity to reconnect, share experiences and promote awareness about heart health and healthy lifestyle practices.

The programme was inaugurated by Dr. Rajeev Ram, Chief Medical Services. Dr. Ribin P. Varghese, Operations Head, presided over the function.

As part of the event, a free blood examination was conducted for the participants. An awareness session on lifestyle-related diseases and measures to control them was also organised.

The programme was conducted under the leadership of Dr. Vivek Pillai, Cardiologist. Dr. Dileep Krishnan, Senior Paediatrician Dr. Haridas, and Senior Gynaecologist Dr. Viswan also participated in the programme.

The gathering highlighted BMH Payyanur’s continued commitment to supporting patients beyond treatment and promoting long-term heart health and well-being.
