Baby Memorial Hospital (BMH), Kannur, has launched its Centre of Excellence for Renal Transplant and Advanced Urology & Nephrology, bringing advanced kidney care and specialised urological services closer to patients in North Kerala.

The Centre offers comprehensive treatment for complex kidney and urinary conditions, with specialised expertise in renal transplantation, advanced urological procedures, nephrology, and comprehensive kidney care. The initiative strengthens BMH Kannur’s commitment to providing advanced, multidisciplinary healthcare services to the region.

Baby Memorial Hospital Kannur, has also joined hands with panchayat representatives and local self-government bodies across Kannur and Kasaragod districts to support patients requiring renal transplantation. As part of this initiative, free renal transplant surgeries are planned for 25 eligible patients, ensuring that financial difficulties do not stand in the way of accessing advanced kidney care.

The initiative was launched alongside the Centre of Excellence for Renal Transplant and Advanced Urology & Nephrology, strengthening BMH Kannur’s commitment to accessible and comprehensive healthcare for the community.
