Events & Updates | Green Ribbon Ride – Organ Donation Awareness Rally

Baby Memorial Hospital, Kozhikode, and Meitra Hospital, in association with K-SOTTO, organised the “Green Ribbon Ride”, a bike rally to raise awareness about organ donation ahead of World Organ Donation Day.

The rally began at Meitra Hospital and concluded at Freedom Square Beach, Kozhikode. The event was inaugurated by the chief guest, M. K. Raghavan, MP, who highlighted the importance of pledging to donate organs after death and encouraged the public to come forward and support the cause.

The event was presided over by Dr. S. Noble Gracias, Executive Director, K-SOTTO. Purnima Raja, COO, Baby Memorial Hospital, along with Dr. C. Ravindran, Dr. Sunil George, Dr. Fabit Moideen , Dr. Fawas Muhammed, participated in the event.

Doctors, healthcare professionals, and staff from both hospitals actively participated in the rally, making the event a grand success. The initiative helped spread awareness about the importance of organ donation and encouraged the community to take a positive step towards saving lives through organ donation.
