Dr. Balakumar K is an experienced cardiologist with a strong academic background and extensive clinical exposure across reputed institutions in South India. He completed his MBBS from Pondicherry University in 2009, followed by MD in Internal Medicine from Vinayaka Mission University in 2014 and DrNB in Cardiology from NBEMS, New Delhi, in January 2025.

Over the years, Dr. Balakumar has served in multiple medical institutions, holding key teaching and clinical roles. His professional journey includes appointments at Pondicherry Institute of Medical Science, Sri Manakula Vinayagar Medical College, Sri Venkateswara Medical College, and Sri Lakshmi Narayana Institute of Medical Sciences, where he also worked as Assistant Professor.

He has further enriched his experience through roles at RGSH IQRAA Hospital, Lakshadweep, Kauvery Hospital, Trichy, and I-MED Super Specialty Hospital, Tindivanam. Most recently, he was associated with Gleneagles Global Health City, Chennai, in the Department of Cardiology.

With over a decade of experience in internal medicine and interventional cardiology, Dr. Balakumar is dedicated to delivering comprehensive cardiac care with clinical excellence and compassion.
