International Patient Abdulla’s Knee Replacement Journey at BMH Kozhikode

Abdulla Sheikhadon Abdi from Sudan shares his journey of overcoming nearly 20 years of severe knee pain with treatment at Baby Memorial Hospital , Kozhikode. After seeking treatment at several hospitals in Sudan without finding lasting relief, he explored treatment options in Kerala, and connected with BMH through its International Patient Department.

With assistance from the International Patient Department, Abdulla consulted Dr. Rajanish R, Department of Orthopaedic And Arthroscopic Surgery, who recommended Total Knee Replacement (TKR) surgery following a detailed evaluation. After successfully undergoing the procedure, Abdulla experienced improved mobility and greater comfort in his daily life. Having completed his treatment, he returned to Sudan with renewed confidence and heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Rajanish and the entire BMH team for their care, guidance, and support throughout his treatment journey.
