Dr O T George

Dr. O T George is a Senior Consultant in Orthopaedic and Arthroscopic Surgery at Baby Memorial Hospital, Thodupuzha, with extensive experience in the surgical management of complex orthopaedic and musculoskeletal conditions. He completed his MBBS from Government Medical College, Kottayam, and MS in Orthopaedics and D.Ortho from Government Medical College, Calicut. He has also undergone fellowships in Arthroplasty from the USA, Shoulder Surgery from South Africa, and Spine Surgery.

His areas of expertise include primary and complex joint replacement of the knee, hip, shoulder and elbow, as well as revision knee and hip arthroplasty. His practice also covers Total Knee Replacement, including Robotic Total Knee Replacement, Total Hip Replacement and complex revision procedures. He has extensive expertise in knee and shoulder arthroscopy, including ACL reconstruction, multi-ligament reconstruction, recurrent shoulder dislocation and rotator cuff injuries.

Dr. O. T. George also specialises in spine surgery, including spinal trauma, multilevel screw fixation, scoliosis and deformity correction, along with complex trauma management involving multiple joint, spine and pelvic fractures. His orthopaedic practice encompasses both adult and paediatric orthopaedic conditions, with a focus on restoring mobility and function through appropriate surgical management and rehabilitation.
