Our Facilities

The department is equipped with advanced technology and specialised laboratories to support comprehensive pathology diagnostics across all major subspecialties.

Oncopathology
We operate fully automated tissue processors, cryostat systems, and advanced Immunohistochemistry and ISH platforms. As a leading reference IHC laboratory in Kerala, we offer over 150 IHC antibodies and EBER-ISH testing, supporting accurate cancer diagnosis and subtyping.

Hematopathology
Our laboratory is equipped with 10-colour flow cytometry for detailed immunophenotyping of lymphomas, leukaemias, and myelomas, including minimal residual disease (MRD) assessment. Complete IHC panels for lymphoma typing, including EBER-ISH, are routinely performed.

Renal Pathology
We provide comprehensive renal biopsy evaluation using routine histology, special stains, and immunofluorescence for accurate diagnosis of medical renal diseases.

Gastrointestinal Pathology
The department handles routine endoscopic biopsies, liver biopsies with special stains, major GI resections, frozen sections, and specialised GI oncopathology.

Pulmonary Pathology
We routinely process pleural biopsies, endobronchial biopsies, lung biopsies, EBUS specimens, and major lung resections, supported by ancillary immunohistochemistry.

Gynaecological Pathology
Services include small biopsies, gynaecologic oncology specimens, frozen section evaluation, and immunohistochemistry for precise tumour classification.

Uropathology and Genital Pathology
We perform liquid-based cytology for cervical smears and comprehensive immunohistochemistry for male and female genital tract and urinary tract cancers.

Head and Neck Pathology
Major resection specimens are evaluated with frozen section support and required ancillary immunohistochemistry for margin assessment and tumour typing.

Dermatopathology
We offer specialised dermatopathology services including immunofluorescence and advanced special stains for inflammatory and neoplastic skin disorders.
