The Department of Neurology at Baby Memorial Hospitals is a comprehensive centre of excellence dedicated to the diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of disorders affecting the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves, and muscles. Our expert team of neurologists, neurophysiologists, and stroke specialists provide 24x7 care across a wide spectrum of acute and chronic neurological conditions including stroke, epilepsy, movement disorders, neurodegenerative diseases, neuromuscular disorders, headaches, and demyelinating diseases.

We are one of Kerala’s most advanced neuro-care providers, equipped with state-of-the-art neuroimaging systems, a dedicated neuro-intensive care unit (NICU), and electrophysiology labs for digital EEG, video EEG, and EMG/NCS testing. Our multidisciplinary approach ensures seamless integration between neurology, neurosurgery, neurointervention, critical care, and rehabilitation services, enabling early diagnosis, timely intervention, and long-term functional recovery.

In a landmark achievement, Baby Memorial Hospital has been recognised as the first hospital in Kerala and second in India to be accredited as an Advanced Stroke Centre by the Quality and Accreditation Institute (QAI) – Centre for Accreditation of Health and Social Care.
